What does the Third Suffolk District mean? On paper, it means an area of the city of Boston consisting of:

• Ward 3: precincts 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8
• Ward 4: precinct 1
• Ward 5: precinct 1
• Ward 8: precincts 1, 2, and 3

In our everyday lives, it means a vibrant cluster of neighborhoods and communities, which although unique and distinctive, also share similar needs and priorities.
